Who we are

Autistic Minds Belong is a space where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
We provide individualized, compassionate services for autistic children and children with other developmental needs — blending evidence-based strategies with genuine human connection.

Our mission is simple:

  • Foster belonging in every interaction

  • Empower families through practical support and collaboration

  • Create joyful learning experiences that honor each child’s strengths

About the Founder

Hi, I’m Audrey, the founder and lead therapist of Autistic Minds Belong.
I’m a Black and Filipino, first-generation Canadian cis woman (she/her).

My passion for working with individuals with special needs began in high school, where I was actively involved in group programs that supported diverse learners. Since then, I have worked in daycares across the GTA, building hands-on experience in supporting children of various ages and developmental stages.

I went on to study Child Studies before completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology, further deepening my understanding of child development, behavior, and learning.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, I entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a renewed commitment to working with children. The shift strengthened my scientific and analytical skills, allowing me to blend data-driven approaches with warmth and creativity in every session.

Alongside my academic and professional journey, I spent five years in a youth leadership program, where I completed leadership courses that shaped my values, communication style, and dedication to building inclusive communities.

I am currently pursuing my Masters to become a Registered Behavioural Analyst.

Why Families Choose Us

  • Culturally and Identity-Aware Support – We recognize how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape how families experience care.

  • Intentional Caseloads – We keep our client list small so every child and family gets focused, quality attention.

  • Whole-Child Approach – We focus not just on skill-building, but also on confidence, independence, and joy.

Our Commitment

When you work with Autistic Minds Belong, you’re not just getting therapy, you’re building a partnership.
We’ll meet your child exactly where they are, celebrate every milestone (big or small), and always approach your family with kindness, patience, and respect.

Because here, belonging isn’t just a goal, it’s the foundation for everything we do.
